RECOLLECTIONz

There is a tradition and, I will go out on a limb here and say that it is pretty much endorsed by many the world over. What you sow is what you reap, you scratch our backs we scratch yours. .. …

Unfortunately there is no quid pro quo.

Every new mistake dawn as virgin lessons and fresh reckonings, for consequences when they descend, it is always a new taste and breed of misery. What remains constant are the actions that stem from careful planning which naturally leads to tranquil landings if not heavenly destinations.

An ambiguous truth seemingly established on two sides of civil servants, bureaucrats and parliamentarians as a set and the media on the other side is no two sides yield to glaring shortcomings on their respective side of the fences. They think we are dumb, lost and clueless and we think they are dumb, lost and clueless. Touché

To take a word seriously there either has to be some weight of substance or otherwise power; of the good old truth. In case there is neither, backsides are so efficiently turned, and the matter very expectedly swept under the rug. I’m saying no one wants to face the music.

Because all due processes and events are historical and very brand-new in my beloved country, many at influential levels of the escalator are living the Bhutanese dream in the new millennia (more importantly newly budding democratic Bhutan).

The brash and full of confidence (not necessarily unanimously acknowledged) are setting trends and the meek of countenance and heart are now very gracefully trained in the art of bowing:-)..
